Do assassins eat smaller MTSs?

...or do they have to wait until the MTSs grow a bit?

assassins eat any snails they can attack, be it alone or in groups for larger ones.

I've found they tend to like snails the same size as they are. If there are a ton of feeder snails in the tank, they will let the smaller ones go past. Now if there aren't many snails in the tank, they'll go after any size snail.

You shouldn't take life to seriously. You'll never get out alive.

Mine seem to leave the smaller ones alone.

I too found that assassins eat prey snails of similar size and leave the smaller ones to the smaller assassins. However, I have also seen baby assassins finish off left overs from a kill made by an adult assassin.

Mine rarely eat small MTS. Not worth their effort. But if they root out a larger one, they'll chase it down relentlessly.
