Orange eye tiger offspring

Hey everyone. I have some OEBT and BOET in a tank of mine. I now have baby shrimp. Well only 3 that I see. I have a couple questions. First how long does it take for them to fully color up bring they are transparent right now? Second of the 3 that I have seen one has black eyes??? Is this a normal thing with breedings? THanks!

Black tigers are born with their adult coloration. Orange eye blue tigers start to color up around a 1/4" while some don't start to show color until 1/2"
Black tigers will throw some off springs with black eyes, I haven't noticed that with orange eye blue tigers.

I have had them not quite a month. The little ones are about 1/4 inch maybe less. I shined my flash light at the one with the black eyes and it looks orange then. They still look transparent with no real blue tint. I am just excited that I have offspring. Just trying to puzzle out what they will look like later. Thanks to everyone who has replied and given input! You guys are awesome.

you might end up with royal blue tigers. being that you may have crossed blacks and blues together.

Just posting an update. So I have seperated the BTOE and OEBT shrimp. The most of the offspring have taken on what looks like a Blonde Tiger look for the most part. With the exception of my Black eyed individual. He is interesting because he has developed no stripes at all , but has a light blue tint to him. I wish I could take a pic, but the camera on my phone sucks and you can't really make anything out. Just imagine a light blue snowball shrimp and there you go. So any ideas? Thanks!

I just saw a recent post on another topic saying that the cross looked more like a wild type. If the BTOE and the OEBT crossed which is what I am guessing happened. Then is this offspring what the tigers looked like before getting the stripes? Would you consider it a cull because it has no stripes and black eyes? Thanks!!

yes they kind of revert back if breed with OEBT, but then ou would ge a mix of some BTOE and some OEBT too with some cull looking less than colored ones with big stripes
