I don't think people want to really PAY for neos.

there are all kinds of colors when it comes to neo's and yes people pay for them. really you wont make any money selling them most of the time your lucky to break even. there are several types of blue neos now too. best thing to do is get something you like and most of the time it will sell but not for much

Not sure exactly what xmas meant since neos happen to be one of my favorite shrimp, however he is right in a way.

The best you can really do is keep something that interests YOU. A lot of people get into shrimp thinking they can sell a ton of them and then walk away defeated when they realize that they actually lose money or at best break even.

Have fun with them, but if you decide to try for money, it's not going to work.

from reading on here yellow tends to be the most sensitive of all the neo's. i would go with the blues or orange, there are also rili of several shades.

good luck, I breed and sell shrimp and I would say that I put maybe 500$ in my pocket after 2 years. Filters lights fans food new substrate purigen filter pads moss plants décor test kits ph monitors some additives remineralizers ro unit and everything else adds up quick. You think you are making money but after all that the energy cost and time.... More or less a break even, I just like that it pays for it self.
