Super Low Grade RCS???

Has anybody bred for lack of color? Fully clear RCS would be kinda cool.

I have not bred for it specifically but I have a tank full of wilds, some have color and some don't. It's a 'skittle' tank, have had just about all colors of neos in there. They aren't completely clear though...they look clear until you take a macro photo of them A pic of one of my males

i had rili that would show up some times all clear but it was pretty common to get them with only about 10% red if that much. i never culled so i got a wide range of color on them i have had a few that looked like cherries too as well as all blue bodies like blue velvet and a couple that were clear with dark blue marking on the paint

Super low grade rcs would probably be closer to wild neocaridina than cherries

I have a bunch that look like that and if you don't take them out the whole strain will be like that in time.... Then you got a tank full of clears

Why not just ghost shrimp? I can actually collect those locally.

Ya I didn't cull my chocolate neos enough and they became clear. Almost looked like mini amanos

I've culled super low grade RCS for nearly two years and the culls are similar to wild neocaridina.
