What are these ( UPDATE ! )

Fish store had these in the tank as zebra shrimp but they don't look like what I'm finding in google foe zebra. Are they black crystal?

Look like bumblebee shrimp to me. Whites aren't really white enough to be CBS, and black isn't black enough either.

I thought the same thing about the white.. I was saying that to the girl who worked there.. that they really looked like black crystal but the body was to clear. I ended up buying them JUST so I could take them home and take pictures and ask you all. I can't stand a mystery. One guy was insisting they were tiger shrimp. LOL

Even low grade isn't going to have clear white like that. It will be a bit translucent but really, those don't look like CBS to me. Low grade CBS will have muddy white, splotchy white or when you get into grades like B and C the white banding gets thinner, not more translucent.

I found this UTube video . This guy is calling it zebra shrimp and it looks exactly like what I have.

They look just like my bumble bees. I love them. I have about a few CBS in the same tank as well and I never get confused. They sometimes turn bluish and looks very cool.

Folks mislabel shrimp all the time...they don't look like anything I've seen called zebras but all the pics I've seen could have been mislabeled. Dang you internet!
