Cloudy Amanos - then not?
So, i had an interesting experience late last week in regards to my amano shrimp in my 8 gallon tank.
i've always read that cloudy shrimp pretty much = dead shrimp.
However, a few weeks ago, i had a heater mishap and the water dropped to 55 degrees. both amano shrimp clouded very bad, and i figured that it would be just a matter of time until they sluffed this mortal coil.
i moved one to my bigger tank (because he is so small) and left one in the 8 gallon. my reasoning was that if the smaller one died somewhere i couldn't see him :shrugs:
anyhow, long story short.. the amano remaining in the tank is now still a little clouded, but cleared up to a major extent, and seems to be fine. i'm just sharing my experience, not really asking a question. I don't even know if there is a question to be asked. I might come home tonight and find a little pink shrimp :shrugs:
