Thinking of getting this for a Shrimparium

What do you folks think of this tank https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8SZTKQ...v_ov_lig_dp_it
My main concern is shrimpies getting sucked into the filter compartment. Any comments welcome. I'm a cheapscate so don't suggest real expensive alternatives.

That's a cool tank and not pricey. It looks like the filer is on the back and the water just fals over the wall thought the holes. You can easily cover those holes with a dense sponge so the shirmplets can go through.

Not sure how to cover the holes on the top AND down lower.

Looking at the pictures I don't see any holes at the bottom, only at the top. Ultimately you need to have the tank in hand in order to decide how to cover the holes, it's hard to judge by the pictures but I am sure something can be done.

Looks like a scaled down version of a Biocube. I'm guessing if you got inside of the back compartment before filling it, you could use some sort of mesh or sponge to cover the intakes. As these clog over time it might not be the easiest thing to service though.

It looks like the same sort of filter compartment ( GENERAL IDEA) as a Fluvel Spec V. I use window mesh glued on with aquarium safe glue to close of these areas to make them shrimp friendly. Works great!

I'd say either sponge or very small wire mesh to cover the holes.
