Bamboo shrimp

Picked up 2 bamboo shrimp for my tank today. Curious as to if I need to do anything extra to keep these guys fed since the fan feeding thing is foreign to me. Any experiences with them?

do some searches as I recall a few good threads on this forum about them as I had a chance to get one but missed out so was reading up on them.

Make sure to have some perches by the outflow of ur filter. Believe people used crushed food or first bites dropped in water column occasionally. Pretty cool looking shrimp.

Drop down to the shrimp section and look in there for some info. Not sure how old it is.

Love them, green lace shrimp too, but am very wary of having any more. Even attempting to feed them with a pipette wasn't enough to prevent apparent starvation. As they're wild-caught, I'm really hesitant about getting more.

Both have since died. One was found dead this morning and the other has straight up disappeared and I cannot find him anywhere in the room. No fish to prey on them or hurt them and I made sure that food was getting to them daily but I feel you are right. Not enough food could get to them imo and that was the reason of death. Unfortunate because they are beautiful and very cool.

I have a difficult time understanding the philosophy of bringing an animal home and then doing research to see if you can properly take care of it. There are so many aquarium creatures for sale that aren't compatible and it's so much easier to do the research and make accommodations before you bring them home.

I had done research. Made the post for any additional information someone might want to give through personal experience.
