Half Yellow and half Red shrimp

Just saw a half yellow and half red shrimp in my planted tank. I do have yellow and red shrimp in there, just curious if this is some rare shrimp?

It looks like a normal female cherry shrimp to me... that spot is called a 'saddle', it's where they keep their eggs. She'll be breeding soon!

Yup. That's just a normal low grade cherry and the yellow is the saddle which are unfertilized eggs. Once she mates those eggs will drop to under her tail where they will stay for a few weeks until they hatch out.

That means that you will have shrimplets coming soon. With some moss and good plant cover they will start breeding frequently. Congrats.
