Purple Zebra Shrip

hello! I'm looking for advice on if I can have purple zebra shrimp in a planted 15 gallon with neon tetras and cherry barbs. I'm not sure if the fish will immediately eat all the shrimp or not even if I introduce them after the shrimp become stable in the tank. Should I just go for a bigger shrimp or snails?
Thank you for any advice!

You first might want to consider what parameters the shrimp require.

Second if you have any interest in breeding the species. Sounds like these guys reproduce like amanos... aka need brackish or saltwater parameters for the offspring.

Considering they are a small species, I would recommend a larger species and making sure that you have good parameters for the shrimp you want to keep. Better yet, set up a tank specifically for shrimp so you can better observe and enjoy them.
