What are these?

Hi there. I have a ten gallon RCshrimp tank setup. It's been going for about 6 months. Now. Big piece of mopani wood some anubias Nana and dwarf anubias Nana and java moss. The other day I noticed what look like tiny aquatic fruit flies for lack of a better description. They're in with the hair algae and swimming all over the place. I was going to do a water change, but my red cherry shrimp just gave birth to shrimplets. So I'm afraid to do too much. Any idea what they are or how to treat them? See attached.

Seed shrimp?

"Shrimp safe fish" (besides ottos) might be able to take care of them if you *really* wanted to get them out of the tank.... but the fish might also eat some baby shrimp along the way.

I want to be safe with the new shrimplets.

So, they are seed shrimp. I didn't know! Now that I have met ostracoda I can live in happiness! Well, I can be happy that they are not doomsday bugs trying to take over my tank!
