What kind of snails are these.?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of snails these are. I've had them in my tank for many months now. They never grow to more than a little bigger than then about double the size of a grain of rice. They're mostly all white some of them have a little bit of dark colour near the tip of the cone. I was concerned at first when they showed up but they've been doing amazing work at cleaning up the algae on my plant leaves and haven't seen them causing any problems. It's a heavily planted tank. I've been able to keep their size manageable with an assassin snail and not over feeding. I have yet to figure out what these are everybody tells me trumpet snails. But trumpet snails get way bigger than mine. These never grow bigger than what you see in picture. And they only come out at night. Any help in identifying these little guys would be greatly appreciated.

I'd say it's in the trumpet snail family, just not a MTS.

Maybe in the Stenomelania Genus, like S. costellaris maybe?

They look like Malaysian trumpet snails to me - I had them in a tank and mostly saw them come out at night, and they mostly burrowed into the substrate during the day. Mine never exceded 1/2 inch in length. There's probably different strains that are different sizes.
