Exclamation Is this a parasitic nematode?

So I have a pact with the microorganisms in my tanks. If can't see them (unless I'm really close/looking hard) and they're harmless, they don't bother me. I had the lights on tonight to do some quick aquascaping in one of my nano tanks when I see this white worm in one of the nanos, noticeable from three feet away! It's very thin but stretches to nearly 12mm long, just wiggling away near the surface. I plucked it out with my tweezers and it curled up to nearly the size of a grain of sand before I stuck it in a petri dish with water. It's too thin for me to see its head clearly, even with a magnifying glass (I really need to get a microscope in general). Is this just a really big nematode? Is it parasitic (I hear they can be bigger than regular nematodes), or is it harmless like my other nematodes? Should I be concerned?

Picture reference, although this was not the full length it could stretch to, which was more like nearly 12mm at max.

get out of my house

Id say harmless and any betta would have made a quick tasty snack of it. Probably Panagrellus species or maybe a vinegar eel type.

If it swims like a snake, it's detritus. If it wriggles around with no direction, nematode.

That's about all I know!
