Most excellent! That's great that you were able to deal with the little monsters without resorting to xenomorph eradication methods. Keep us updated.


I was away visiting fam for 4 days, but I did a 20% water change and threw some carbon in my filter before I left and everything seems great. There is zero trace of hydra, Shrimp are active and foraging, the smallest snails I couldn't remove (MTS and pond snails) all seem active and fine, and even the detritus worms that swim through my water column are sill kicking. I was sure that a dewormer would wipe out detritus worms. Maybe I dosed just enough to wipe out the hydra and nothing else, but we'll see in the upcoming weeks.


Shrimp all seem happy to be able to swim around hydra free.
