Too much water flow for shrimp tank?

The tank is a 55 gallon that is cycling right now.

I have two filters on the tank, an Ehiem 2215 classic, the output from that filter is I think ok.

There is also an Ehiem 2217 classic, I think the output is a bit on the too much flow side, and I don't want to
slow it down buy closing a ball valve a bit.
Right now the water is really moving around in the tank.

The tank will be planted, so the flow will be dampened buy the plants but I am thinking about teeing the output
and having two outputs from the filter.

Right now they are in a 10 gallon that has a 30 gallon Whisper hang on back that is turned down, and the tank is about 1/3 full of
Giant Hygro, so low circulation, and they are doing great.

What kind of water movement is ideal in a shrimp tank?

Low to medium flow is recommended, but some tanks may be fine with high flow.

It is sort of like a jacuzzi in there now.

I found a 5/8 Ehiem spray bar from another filter, problem solved!
I just need to get a 1/2 to 5/8 adapter.
