Nerite Eggs

I have 4 Tiger Nerites, and I love them! They keep my 29 gallon spotless (all sides and plants), and seem to be tireless workers.

Of course, the driftwood is riddled with Nerite eggs. I'd love to toss the eggs in a brine/brackish solution to see if I could get them to hatch. I have a nano tank I could try this with but...

HOW THE HECK do you get the eggs off driftwood? I don't want to put the driftwood in the nano b/c it wouldn't fit, and there's moss on it, but the eggs seem to be glued on like barnacles! (I did see one of my RCS making off to a hiding place with one a few days ago- what's up with that?) I've tried flicking the eggs off with an algae scraper, but I'm worried I'll damage them.

Any tips or tricks?

Get a small piece of drift wood or bog wood or something, use that and hope they lay the eggs on it. Transfer this to your other tank for hatching/raising. From what very little Ive read there was mention full marine after hatching is for best results then a 3-4 week transition over to marine-brackish-freshwater. Dont try to scrape the eggs off as most likely break them.

Never raised them before, so do some research and good luck. I like my tigers as well. Ive got those and the regular brown ones. They hardly ever stop eating.
