I found this little thing walking/swimming around the substrate. This is a week old planted nano (5g) with only 3 Boraras Maculatas as it gets established. My eventual plan is to have a school of Boraras and the rest of the tank with shrimp and Thai Micro Crab. I am worried that this some kind of parisite that will kill shrimp or take over the tank? I have a turkey baster, should I try to suck him out?

I've sucked him out and quarantined him for now. I could feed him to my Betta?

I feed my Betta live Brine Shrimps and Tubifex worms.Once in awhile I get a smallish White Leach in the worms. When I see one I suck them out with an eye dropper and flush them. Could it be a Leach you have?

After some further research it's what's called a "scud". People breed them as live fish food, I fed it to my Betta, I'm sure he'll find it soon lol.
