Bug ID and What To Do About It

About two weeks ago I started seeing little white worms in my sump. Here's what they look like crawling on a wooden support for my return pump:

They are at most 6mm long and 0.5mm wide. Anyone know what they are and if they are bad? Also what's the best way to get rid of them without killing any shrimp or snails in the tank serviced by this sump?

As long as they remain small, they're fine. Just rhabdocoela flatworms. Since there's no predators in the tank (fish), they tend to multiply quite happily. In order to get rid of them, you'd have to remove the inhabitants from the tank, but since they're harmless, it's generally not worth the effort.
