I am receiving a long waited for batch of cherries either tomorrow or saturday and want to know if I can keep them with threadfin rainbows, badis and scarlet badis? and what other fish can or could go in without a threat to my shrimp?
They will be fine with threadfin as long as they are not just hatched. Threadfins have extremely small mouths. I would however never keep them with badis. They will tear the shrimp up.
microrasboras and CPD.
btw i kept 5 neons in a 12 liter nano with lots of moss and still RCS babies did survive.
But if you want to be on the safer side ...i think shrimp only tank is the best ideea
+1 for threadfins they are amazing fish and I have not had an issue with my RCS in the 9 months they have been tank mates. not even the babies... The badis however mowed through my RCS I had him in for 2 days and he Destroyed all of my juvies and babies.
strange but my RCS seem to to better with only moss and anubias
For some reason a fost growing plant is not to their liking (that meaning that they only breed fast....not like crazy )
