Amanos and plantex csm b

I have had a few die offs of amano shrimp and snails over the past few months. As a test, I stopped dosing my micros csm-b and the remaining shrimp and snails were ok for several weeks. But then I made the decision to plant some AR mini (tissue culture not store bought) a week ago. I decided to add two drops of micros daily to get them to stay healthy and bring color out. 20 gallon tank so this is under the recommended dosage for moderately lighted and planted tank. Shrimp seemed ok. Added a third drop yesterday. Shrimp again died. I have read numerous postings on this site that even those who do heavier dosing of ferts see no adverse effects on inverts. Some people say the contrary, that the micros in particular are sensitive for shrimp. I would hate to stop using my big stash of dry fertilizers and switch to Flourish or some other substitute. I thought I would put this out there again so I can continue to figure out why the shrimp are not doing well. My tetras and SAE are fine....

Ph-6.5 to 7. Nitrite 0. Nitrate near 0. Gh -7. Kh-3. Light co2...1-2 bps.

The only thing toxic to inverts in CSM+B is copper, but the level at which you find it in CSM+B is so insignificant that unless you're overdosing really significant amounts of it, it won't harm anything.

Are you using tap water?

Yes. I live in New York City. The annual water reports don't seem to indicate anything and my pipes are not bad are old. I treat with calcium, magnesium, and Prime.

I do full EI dosing(5 ml three days/week) in a 55 gallon tank with 18 amanos over the last 4 months and have not lost any yet. One or two drops should not of killed your shrimp.
