RCS Pregnant

I have a 10gal low tech planted tank, with 12 RCS and 12 Neon Tetras. I just noticed that one of my RCS is pregnant. What is the best way to help the babies hatch and how can I protect them from the tetras?

You don't need to do anything to help the eggs hatch - as long as the female doesn't drop them.

Now, protecting them from the tetras? Remove the fish. Simple as that.

Not possible? Then *tons* of plants!

Don't have that either? Then get a breeder box that goes either on the inside of the tank or outside of the tank and set it up for the female shrimp. Just know that moving her could result in stress and she could drop the eggs.

Well if you like to breed crs you should have a shrimp only tank and you won't need to worry about babies getting eaten.
