Need help with my tank

Hello everyone
im setting up a new 5.5 gallon shrimp exclusive tank for some kind of shrimps. Itís been cycling about 2 weeks with a few snails I took from my fluval 5 gal planted community tank (20+ Cherry red or some kind of red shrimp ,3 chili rasboras,3 ember tetras,2 salt and peppers). Itís been seeded from the sponge in the fluval.

The tds of my well water is 84-90 ppm, ph 7 ,gh-30 kh is 30-40 (tested ph,kh,gh with api test strips)
how can I raise my tds?
is my kh/gh good ?
im using fuval stratumand Iím gonna plant the tank.

iv been using Poland spring with conditioner in it and the tds-124 ph 6.4 gh- 30 kh-30-40 in my community tank.
I got the tank from my uncle a few weeks ago itís been set up for 2+years.
Any sugestions for what I should add ,the tds of the tank is 124 with the kh and gh same as community tank ph is allittle differnt

Your TDS will rise as you add things to the water - for example, your GH is too low for shrimp and will cause failed molts. Depending on shrimp, you'll want a GH of 4-8 degrees (not ppm as you listed, in ppm ~100-135) and you can achieve that by adding MgSO4 and CaSO4. As you add these salts, you'll see an increase in TDS.

Look at to calculate your CaSO4 and MgSO4 dose. You're probably looking at adding 1.34 grams of CaSO4 and 1.06 grams of MgSO4 to raise your GH to around 4.5
You'll want to keep your ppm ratio Ca:Mg at 3:1. So that dose I just listed gives you 15 ppm Ca to 5 ppm Mg.

All I can say is, if you want to use Fluval Stratum, you should not be using any water that has KH in it, nor should you be adding any products that contain KH as this could result in unstable water parameters.

You'll want to start with water that has 0 GH, 0 KH and 15 TDS or less (5 or less is best). Then add GH only minerals to whatever GH is required for what you plan on keeping in that tank.
