Talking How to sell live inverts?

Im new to the forum and anxious to start posting. I have a tank full of live shrimps and want to start selling them but im having trouble finding information online as to how to sell live inverts- how to box them, package them, where to sell, etc.

Any ideas? Anyone have experience or a link i can read? I tried looking on the forum but couldn't really find anything.

Thank you in advance

Follow and sign up for APC (aquatic Plant Central) generally they take a shipping box put the styrofoam in but the shrimp in a triple bagged throng and throw in a couple punches of moss/plants. I always add a drop or two of prime. This seems to work for most, but you must put large letters, live animals, fragile or whatever you want to say. But APC is the place you go to sell plants.

Shrimp ship well in breather bags like these full of water, no air in the bag

Check out
for starters. But Google something like "shipping aquarium shrimp" to see many other ways to do it. Little differences like adding Prime or a little Purigen, what bags, what to put in there for shrimp to hold onto, etc. You may have access to some materials over others to reduce your costs without reducing your survival rates. Also ship the first few orders to friends or relatives... or box up some shrimp and leave them on the counter for a few days and open it back up. You know, do a test run or two before your seller reputation can be affected if you miss something the first go round

You should see if there are any local places that you can unload your shrimp first. There's a better chance that the water is similar to yours so they should have easier time acclimating. Fish clubs, craigslist, and/or LFS would be a good start.

Justice Beaver is correct: If you have a LFS that uses the same water or similar water sources, you can't go wrong with buying and selling locally grown shrimp. My little group of BCS was sourced from a couple horse trades for aquarium plants and they've been really happy with our water.

Starting small, keeping it simple..(?)
250 gallon stock tank, "pond"
20 gallon H CBS Shrimp tank

Google search.
Post/search here, in the General Planted Tank Forums, in the Local Pet Stores, Clubs and Conventions/Texas sub forum.
