Hi jmccullough108,

GSAS records talks and presentations in HD video if the speakers allow it. As for access to a video that the speaker has allowed the speaker advises us if we can share it by DVD (members only), streaming (members only), or streaming (public access). We don't know until the time of the talk if we will be recording or how it will be shared if we do record.

Did Dr. Barr happen to give permission to share the video? I'd love to see it.

Hi walt_mink,

Our videographer, Erik Olson (thekrib.com) is checking with Tom to see if he will allow us to share it online; a video was made and should be available to club members in a week or so.

I see you live in the Seattle area, GSAS is a 'local' club for State of Washington residents (or individuals that have made it to a meeting) may join for $15 annually/Individual or $20 / Family (it can be done online here). Typically within a week you will receive your membership card with a member number that will provide you access to our Video Library and other secured areas on our website. Plant related videos available to members include Christel Kasselmann (on disk only), Tom Barr ('10) steaming, Karen Randall (4) streaming; and others; fish related videos include Ad Konings, Gary Lange, Barbie Fiorentino, Mike Wise, Ian Fuller, Ted Judy, Dick Au, Chuck Rambo, Oliver Lucanus, and many, many more. Stop by for a meeting sometime as a guest, we meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month on the Seattle Pacific University campus.
