Temp got to 85 degress

Is It bad for a planted tank to reach 85 degress. The highest is ever gets is 82 and that is it, but it reached 85 and I am worried. TIA.

Thanks,
Darrell

I'm guessing it's because of hot weather?
85 degrees isn't too bad. Try to keep it down, but don't loose sleep it if gets there.

Not too bad at all, especially if it was done gradually. Even then, most plants are capable of taking it.

Totally different in reefkeeping...

At worst, I find that it slows some plants down and they may get a bit shabby for a time, but they will rebound when the warm snap ends.
