Water mites?

I've had these little tiny mite-looking things hopping around the surface of my water since I introduced some water sprite into my tank. Anybody know what they are and how to get rid of them?

Probably Springtails (Collembola). Just ignore them... There are some livebearers that go after them. Just part of the system, I guess.

They're not bothering anything, however they are starting to get quite numerous...

I thought they were called water aphids. Great fish food. Any fish that is small enough to see them and hangs out near the water surface will eat them, but not when they are sitting on plant leaves. I run my fingers over the leaves to get the aphids in the water and then the fish gobble them up. My rasboras, tetras, and minnows love them.
