Onion Plant

Do you plant the hole bulb just under the sand or leave some of the bilb above? I've read the two ideas on different sites.

You need to leave about 1/4 of the bulb exposed...here's what I do...I plant the entire bulb under the substrate...then gently pull the leaves until about 1/4 of the bulb is pulled out from the substrate...they'll usually stay put and root well within a week or so.

Re-boot!
