Help with new planted tank

Just took some readings using an API test kits:
PH: 6.8
KH: 17 drops
GH: 20 drops

Can I grow plants in these water parameters?

I don't know if this is enough to cause harm to plants. It is pretty far from the 3KH 5GH that is normally stated as being best.
I would run these test on your tap water to add the results to this post/thread also.
A person more knowledgeable in this aria will likely ask for that info.
Other likely questions are:
How often and what percent do you change water ?
Are there any materials like Argonite/coral or other items normally used for salt
water in your tank ?

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight the opposite direction...

Hello Gold...

You have an acidic pH, so this is preferable for aquatic plants. You don't need to worry about the chemistry of the tap water. Fish and plants will adjust. Start with hardy plants. Anubias, Amazon swords and Java fern for the bottom. Some good floating plants that don't require planting in the substrate are: Pennywort, Anacharis (Elodea Densa) and Hornwort. Just maintain clean water conditions. Add some hardy fish and feed them a balanced diet. The fish will provide the plant nutrients.

Pretty easy.
