Transporting 20G Planted Tank

As the title says, I'm planning on draining my 20G all the way the substrate (with the plants still in the tank) and quickly taking it home to refill. I wouldn't imagine this would be an issue (aside from the plants possibly taking a light hit). The tank shouldn't be too heavy (even with gravel in it), it's only a 20G. Thoughts and/or experiences with this?
Thanks!

You should be fine. I've seen it done. I've done it actually. I didn't have plants, but I took my substrate out back and dumped it. It will be pretty heavy with all the water absorbed into the substrate.

No matter how solid the sub looks, it may shift on you when going around a corner.
BTDT with a 55g tank. Took out 95% of the water even down below the top of the sub
via a corner dug out and the tank tilted that direction. So in case of that I would remove
any rocks which may scratch the bottom or sides if it does slide.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Oh yeah, definitely remove rocks and wood. I only ever transported soil/sand in my tank.
