shrimp cross-breeding

I've currently got a mix of amanos, cherries & green shrimp in my 20g. The cherries & green shrimp are pretty much the same size. Has anybody had any experience mixing shrimp? Any problems with cross-breeding?

I have read that some shrimp will cross breed and not to let this happen. I will see if I can find this info again.

The Cherries and the Green shrimp are different genus, so in theory they would not cross. The Amanos require salt water in the larvel stage as opposed to the Cherries and Greens benthic lifestyle so there is no danger of them crossing with any of the others. Now if the Cherries and Greens did cross you may get a quite interesting cross. X-Mas shrimp? Then again it's not good to let them cross.

I have the same mix of shrimp in my 12 gallon tank at work. I have noticed no mixing.
