Plant Care References

I've tried searching to no avail. Does anyone here know of a good resource for general plant care such as how to properly prune different types of plants and has some definitions for some techie terms (such as runner, rhizome) that kinds stuff. I understand its not overly complicated but I want to try and expand my knowledge base. Any books or internet sites would be great.

I just purchased this book, and I really like it. Gives a lot of helpful advice, including pruning and general maintenance advice for plants, as well as specific pruining procedures for some of the more common plants (java fern, etc.). It gives some general advice and outlines for CO2 systems, information on the important macro- and micro-nutrients, and just about everything related to planted tanks. It also, of course, has a good number of profiles on aquarium plants. Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase. I had to pay $24.95 for mine too! -- so it looks like you would be ahead in that regard.

I didn't buy any book, I just read through most of the old threads and learned from others. Or just asked the question I wanted and got a quick response too
