Midday Siesta Help!!!

I have a issue, in the morning, i leave for school at 6:45 and i cant see my fish because they are still doing that sleep-swim thing, i also cant feed them so they have to wait until the evening for food, the other issue is that i get home at 4 and my lights turn off at 6, so that gives me only 2 hours of viewing. Would running lights from 6AM-12PM, then have a dark period, then from 3PM-7PM have another light period be detrimental to the plants? In those 3 hours, should i shut off my pressurized co2? How long before the lights turn off, then how long before they turn back on, i have a low plant mass because i just planted and my drop checker is always just barely yellow, in the mornings it is a bright green, then turns nearly yellow the entire day.

I run my lights from 4:30pm to 11pm every day.
6.5 hour photoperiod with 24/7 CO2 and no issues.
Sometimes I feed in the mornings around 6am.
It is a light feeding though, minimal flakes.
I feed twice in the evening while I am there to enjoy the view.

Is there a reason you dont want to run them something like 12pm-8pm, or from something to whatever general bed time is?

That whole morning period doesnt seem worth it for 30 min of viewing before you leave out. I would lump it all in the afternoon/evening.

Run whatever works for you. Viewing time with the lights on is important. I definitely set my timers so that my tanks are on in the evening.

I think i am going to go with running co2 from 11:30 to 8, lights from 12 to 8:30 and airstone from 10PM - 11 AM
