Lighting Question

I have a question. Will this work for my 20 gallon (no CO2) with these plants:

Dwarf Hair Grass, Peacock moss, Dwarf Riccia

I think you'll definitely need to dose Excel if you don't do CO2; those lights are more powerful than they may appear (I own 2 of those fixtures, I do quite like them)

Hairgrass also doesn't tend to do much without supplemental carbon. If you substituted E. tenellus (narrow or micro) it might fill in a bit better even w/out.

I would be careful with the Excel and Riccia. If you accidentally dose too much, the Riccia will start turning white (I've unfortunately experienced this)

Hmm, another question.. sorry :X

if i got the riccia(fluitans or dwarf, still unsure), will they do alright with the light i posted link for above? that would be 1.8 wpg, when i recently read they do well in higher lights,(eg 2.0-2.5 wpg)???

It depends on how you want to grow the Riccia. If you are growing it floating, you should have no problem, but if you are growing it submerged, you will need higher light and CO2 in addition.

Since that 30" fixture fits a 20L, you should be fine. They are NO (normal output) not HO. If you were dealing with a 20H, I'd suggest you go right for HO.
