Canister spray bar and hob filter placement for water flow

I have a 55 gallon standard size with an Aqueon Quietflow 30 HOB and a SunSun 303B canister filter.

What is the best placement for the Aqueon filter and the spray bar (placement and holes direction) on the SunSun for proper water flow?

Thanks in advance.

Just me but I prefer to put the spray bar on the side of the aquarium and aim it straight near the top of the aquarium. Put the Aqueon on the other end of the tank or 3/4th down the end.

I have the sunsun hw 302, and i put my spray bar on the top left corner of the aquarium, with the holes facing the front and aimed upward, and my intake is in the opposite right bottom corner

If you want maximum flow, remove the spray bar. Then put the hob all the way to one side and the intake and outflow of the canster all the way to the other. Aim the canister outflow along the back of the tank toward the hob. This should create a circular flow around your tank. You probably will need to adjust but I bet you see quite an increase in flow.
