came across this video, curious if anyone has tried this and if because the second membrane is filtering waste water would you have to replace it 2x as often?

true, but my garden is far too small and we are in a drought in northern ca so the water prices are sky high.

I found ro to be unnecessary I removed the membrane and just filter thru the filters no longer do I half to buffer the water perimeters back so less cost there the fish and plants are super happy .

I have a 75gpd system for my reef tanks. I have a second 75gpd membrane that I do just that with. My ratio is 2:1 now and it makes water fast. You can buy the add on kits at BRS.
