Question Plants that grow well without special substrate?

I have 2 18 inch Floramax bulbs, and I only have gravel as a substrate, I want to know what plants do well buried in normal gravel, I don't want to fertilize my tank unless I really have to. I am new to this and I can't seem to find plants that are definitely easy to grow

I doubt you will get much more here than what was suggested in your other thread.

The only type that has not been mentionned are floaters. They clearly don't need substrate by their nature.

Here you don't indicate the size of your tank (55 gal). People will ask because just specifying the lamps by themselves is not enough. Size of tank matters.

You might want to visit this low tech low light thread if you haven't seen it yet.

Anubias, Java Fern, and ALL mosses should be good (since they do not take in nutrients from their roots).
GOOD LUCK!
