Switch tanks?

So I've had a 55 setup for a little while... I like the size of the tank. But one other thing that bugs me about it that many other people have complained about is the lack of depth and height... I'm really not digging it. Besides those issues I like it. But working in a tank and getting your armpit and shirt every time is kind of tiresome.

So what do you guys think I should do? Be patient and just keep the 55? Check Petco/Petsmart for a 40B for 40 bucks? I've noticed that a tank that's around 16-18 inches is so much easier to work in. I could also possibly get a 40 long since it will fit on my stand that I really like that was 200 dollars and I wouldn't have to buy a new one. Still not as much depth, but might be a little more proportioned for the footprint your working with.

I see Petsmart also has a new setup advertised which is pretty much like 50 breeder...

Yeah it does look pretty cool! Tad bit pricey though... Petsmart has a tank branded under their Top Fin line that is a 50 gallon which is 48x12x19 and I really liked a lot more originally but their tanks have some quality issues to I had to go with the 55.

That tank is nice but not $400 nice, lol. I'd just get a 40b, that's my next tank. I like my 4' 55g. I need a stand for it(the only reason it isn't up and going).

Stock lightly and carry a big filter. - I don't have aquariums. I have ecosystems in a glass box. - Hygrophilaholic and hoarder of Anubias.

I suppose I should give it a little bit more patience... I did use to have a 75 before this but was just way too big for our living room.

65 is a nice tank size is well, but not really a fan of how tall it is.

works great for me, planting small clippings, moving, cutting. reaches the bottom without the handle going in.
