Question HELP! Bugs (not nematodes) in the tank!

I hope I'm putting this in the right place.

I seem to suddenly have millions of moving things in my 65 gal tank. I don't know what they are or where they came from but they're in the water and on the sides of the tank. I perform water changes once a week and have a 406 and a biowheel hob filter on the tank. I haven't added or subtracted any plants or hardscape. The only thing I've added is an albino BN pleco that I got a week ago. What is going on?!

if you don't have micro predators... i.e. fish that eat the little things in a tank.. they will develop a decent population, and become noticeable in a tank... Some are good some are bad, some are more tolerable to live with than others. Adding some fish besides the BN will likely see you little swimmy things go away.

Personally I have lots of micro organisms in my shrimp only tank and love them, but your milage may vary.
