Best way to treat anchor worms

I don't have many fish stores in my area the carry medicine. So I will have to order everything. I looked online and there seem to be many ways using different medicines, salts, and even pulling them out. I plan to treat the whole tank. It's a small 15 gallon tank with no plants. The fish are goldfish that my lovely girlfriend wanted to save from Petco. I believe I remember that you have to raise the temperature from tropical fish, but these are cold water fish.

Any help would be much appreciated. I will continue to do research online.
