Looking for "10g" Rimless

I'm looking for a rimless tank w/ a 10g footprint. I'm having trouble finding anything available. The Mr. Aqua 11.4g is out of stock. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

You could always try "de-rimming" a regular 10 gallon tank.

+1.

If you try it, just be careful with the edges of the glass that the trim covers. In most cases, it's simply cut glass with razor sharp edges. A few passes with some really fine-grit sandpaper fixes that.

Supposedly the Mr. Aqua 11.4 will be available in 2-3 weeks. I just assumed there were a myriad of choices...I don't trust my skills (lack thereof) to attempt the DIY approach:-)

I just remembered about Truaqua. I don't have any, but I've read good things about their tanks.

Try the mr. Aqua 12 gallon long! It's an amazing tank, great shape. Here's mine.

Also, i strongly recommend that you DO NOT de-rim a standard tank. The rimless tanks use thicker glass that is designed to be rimless.

I love the 12 long! But i'm tight for space and the stand i have, which i love, is only 22 inches. The stand, btw is an old hospital nightstand on wheels with removable steel tray drawers.

Very true; but I wouldn't be too concerned with a 10 gallon. Any bigger and I'd expect problems though.

I wouldn't worry about the derimming, its the fact that any rimless tank will look much nicer.
