ERR more Paypal questions!

So I want to sell plants.
Have no Paypal and Can not make one either.
However, I do have a Wells Fargo Checking account.
My questions are can people send me money directly to my bank account from Paypal?
If not, Wells Fargo has this sure pay thing where one can electronically send and receive money. Does anyone know if I can use this to receive money from other bank accounts other than Wells Fargo?
THANKS!

Age restriction?

I would talk it over with someone at your Wells Fargo branch.

Judging by the tone here, I must assume mom or dad won't set up a paypal account or let you use a preexisting one?

Can't you just not give the correct age info when you set it up? Does your checking account have a thing that says it belongs to a minor?

I would try it anyway.

You definitely don't want people having a way to access your bank account directly. So giving people your account number for them to make a transfer is very bad. Don't ever do that.

Not sure about how the Google version works but that's also something to look into.

I made a paypal then it made me put in my social security number and realized I was only 14/15 and did not let me receive payments.

Perhaps just enjoy not being responsible for anything yet.

PayPal is evil anyway. Being young has its perks and limitations sometimes. The only advice I can offer at this point is to lean on mom and dad to help set up an account.

Well, I asked because I thought age was the issue but couldn't be sure.

Fwiw, I have to agree with oldpunk here. Sit down and have a talk with the folks about it. Honestly, I wouldn't have Paypal transactions going through my main checking account either, but most banks have no-fee(or really close to no-fee) accounts they could set up for you to use. When all three of my kids went off to college we had to do pretty much that.

If you have a question about your account why not talk to Wells Fargo? There's all kinds of checking accounts with different rules and features. They can tell you accurately what you can and can't do with your account. Might be better than us just guessing.

You're going to need to talk to an adult to set up a paypal account. I think my niece has a paypal account but it's limited.

People buying from you aren't going to jump through hoops to buy from you. Paypal is the easiest and secure even though they charge you quite a bit for money transfers.

Idk if limited pay pal accounts can take money from strangers.
