CO2 check dropper solution

Do I ever have to replace it because it doesn't like it is working anymore. I'm using the pH dropper

Yes you should replace it, just to be on the safe side. Most people have their own schedule, but I suggest once per month.

Did you mix the ph reagent with Kh 4.0 reference solution? If so and it is still dark blue that means you need more CO2.

Yea, So when there is no color I should change it? I'm adding CO2 and it wasn't changing color so I thought is was losing its effect

I have had mine in for over a month and it is pretty pale, but I can still tell the difference between the colors. Once it is too hard to see the color I will change it.

How many drops of reagent did you use?

The reason it is still blue and you know there is co2 might be when you put it in the water there might have been an air bubble in the dc which is hard to see just tip it over and let the air bubble out and that should solve the problem. I use two drops of solution to 1mlof h2o, but that is with the red sea dc. i dont know what you have

I am using a 2 liter bottle. It is half filled so 1 liter.
Yeast solution
1. 1/4 tsp yeast
2. 1/2 cup sugar
3. 1 liter of water
4. Baking soda when I feel like it
5. 1/2 tsp Protein drink when I have it
Diffusing it with a hagen elite mini

This is the bottom of my check dropper

I'm guessing I shouldn't have bubbles filled under the fat bottom part
