First snails, then copepods, now springtails???? Argh!

So I am the type of girl thatMTS = No pond snails screams when she sees a box elder bug in the house (which, by the way is a harmless bug that looks like a firefly). I had to accept the snails early on to have a planted tank. Fine. Took me a while, but I am starting to think they are cute. Shrimp weirded me out big time, but I am starting to develop a fondness for them, too.

Then came the copepods. After the initial shock, followed by the chills and screaming when one touched me....I dealt with it.

But now what? A SPRINGTAIL?!?!? At least, that is what I am assuming after reading this link:

Hopping little freaky flea looking bugs.....Ewwwwww! Come on! I am totally grossed out right now.

End of rant.

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.
