don't like pink color light and need info for CF bulb

I am starting a 10g. The tank came with a cheap fixture that takes incandescent bulb (of course screw type). To replace them, I ordered two Colormax daylight CF (spiral screw) and then was surprised to find out the light is pink!!!! I believe the red/pink light is good for plants as stated on the package, but it just doesn't look right with that color.
So my questions are:
could you please recommend any other light bulbs (hopefully 20W or higher) that I could put into the fixture that are good for plants?
what if I mix one pink one 50/50, what kind of color will that be? I really like to get a light that is good for plants but also pleasant to look at.
If there is no good answer to above, I will be wiling to sacrifice beer money for a new light fixture. Do you know of any that could recommend? the length my tank is 20 inches.
Many thanks in advance.

Heh, I have a Colormax on my 2.5 betta tank and it is RED! Looks weird, but the plants like it.

I've mixed a Colormax with a 50/50 bulb and it looked a lot more natural. Unfortunately, I can't give a good recommendation on a light fixture, but a Colormax-50/50 combo will look fine. With the screw-in fixture, one side would be reddish and the other not, though.

I don't know if they even make them in that size, but a 9325K bulb is an awesome spectrum for the plants and aesthetically pleasing too. I use the 9325s in my tanks. Hopefully you can make some sense out of my rambling there
