arrrr medication

i was puting new fish in the tank and took the advice from someone to put a hafe stregnth multi purpose cure in so i put 10 mls into a 55 gallon and the wholethings grren.

the stuff has die in it just wondering how long it takes to go away

If you are concerned, you may consider a large water change.

Dang, dye didn't even cross my mind when I saw that sentence
Do partial water changes after the effective time has passed. No use doing a water change too quick for the medicine to go into affect.

Half dosing medication does more harm than good, you'll only serve to build up more resistant strains of the nasties. If you're going to medicate, do so to treat a confirmed illness, and do so with fresh and appropriate medication at the full recommended dosage.

Use granular activated carbon to remove the discoloration-causing medicine.
