How many aquarium books do you own?

So tonight after Mardi Gras I had a few people over and a friend opened my cabinet on my entertainment center and saw all my aquarium books. So now my friends think Im a fish book horder. I never really thought about it but I guess 26 books may be a little excessive. Research is good right?

So am I alone here? Is this alot? Or does someone have more to make me feel a little less like a dork?

lol I only have 2 but I've almost bought like 8 others
the 2 i have are

"The Simple Guide to Freshwater aquariums", David Boruchowitz -- I love this book-i think it's wonderful when you're starting out and it's great to reference even after keeping aquariums for 10 years.

"The Simple Guide to the Planted Aquarium", Terry Barber & Rhonda Wilson -- I like this book too but it's not the quintessential manual like freshwater one, it could be more comprehensive- they do funny things, like 5 pages on bugs in the aquarium, and less than a full page on fertalizers - what?- but still some good info.

Zero. But if we were talking magazines....that's a different story!

Pretty much none anymore, unless they're in a box somewhere. The internet has replaced books, and for the most part, magazines too.

Only books I use are Nature Aquarium World. For Inspiration and Pictures! Oh and Diana Walstads book is a good reference.

Yeah my favorites are easily the Nature Aquarium World series and Diana Walstads book. I'll read any fish book though, I have a book from the 50's and its pretty funny to read. Things have come a long way since then. Maybe I'll set up a high tec meta-frame lol.

I agree that the internet has replaced the need for books for the most part but I bought most of these before I had internet access. In fact I've owned Amano's books almost ten years and I just set up my first planted tank. Guess Ive been procrastinating.

Oh yes that's way too many you have there! You need to get rid of some and send them this way! Just kidding!

I have 0 books and 2 magazines

LOL! You never know when you may need one of them! I think it's great to have them for refrence!

I do wish I had some but I was never really sure which ones were the best ones to get so I haven't bought any books yet! So far this site has been my main source of info!

Take care!

I have five. Three are saltwater, and the other two are freshwater. One of the fw books is from the thirties and one is from the fifties.
