Dosing and substrate questions

Hi there everyone,

Just curious how much you all dose into your tanks in terms of micros. I have a 46 gallon 3.3 WPG quite heavily planted tank and I dose I capfull(5mLs) of flourish in it every other day for micros. Macros are dosed oposite days. Some of my plants seem a little pale and I am wondering if I should up my micro dosing. For those of you out there who use flourish, how much do you dose and how often?

My second question is that I am getting ready (in may) to set up a 75 gallon tank, and I am thinking about substrate, I have turface right now and it is alright (and cheap) but it gets really dust and I am a little over the red. Funds are not unlimited though, so I am trying to figure out some moderately priced mix that will grow plants like mad. I was thinking of maybe using a little aquasoil, some eco-complete, and then some of some sort of cheaper substrate that could be mixed with these. Will this work or is it a stupid idea?

Last question, my C. Rosenervig is kind of pale looking, the leaves are yellowish and no veining is apparent. What can I do to help it? I am going to add more root tabs under it (pfertz tabs). How are others growing this crypt successfully?

Thanks everyone!
