regulator busted...should i do anything special till new one arrives?

my cheapo made in taiwan paintball regulator blew today. fed up with it i ordered a nice cornelius paintball regulator from greenleaf. its probably going to take a few days to get. should i be doing anything special until i can get it up and running? cut back on lights..ferts? currently i have 3 wpg going 8 hrs and am dosing ferts every other day.

Cut back on light. A few days of excess ferts won't matter too much. Cut back on those also if you wish.

cut back the lights and try to rig up a diy reactor.

I ran 5X Excel as carbon source for weeks, with no deaths - at the time, zebras, white clouds. But that was before adding in amano shrimps, RCS, BN pleco, otos and CO2.

yeah i wish i could but not only do i have all of those fish and shrimp....i have very sensative crystal red shrimp. i have lost a bunch of them already by just adding half the recomended dose of excel.

thanks so far for advice. i will cut my photoperiod back till new co2 is up and running.
