3 deaths :(

So today is water change day, and just before I started I was checking out my fish. I found three day and I'm pretty sure it was over night. A neon, cardinal and a tummy nose. I'm not sure why this happened. I tested my waters and everything seems normal. The only thing I've changed was that I started adding excel about 2 weeks ago to help with algae. My tank is a 90g, injected co2 light on for 6.5 hours. I hope it was just a fluke.

Ok just found another 2 fish dead. I have no idea what's going on. All my tests seem to be normal.

Looks like it might be columnaris, but I can't be completely sure from the pics.

First picture; top fish looks to have "spots" just under dorsal.Seems kind of blotchy also, and possibly whitish lips?
In the second picture ; the top fish(same one) seems blotchy and possibly clamping fin.
Quick look says columnaris, but you need to recognize it .
How much water did you change and what size tank?

IMO the speed of deaths means columnaris 95%.
Read the link, there are several types.

sorry to hear about all your recent deaths.

I don't have experience with columnaris but I don't know of much else that can wipe out fish that fast.

Other than some toxic something getting into the tank by mistake. cleaner or something.

White saddle on the back of the fish is a dead give away for columnaris along with the rapid fish deaths.

From my best reading a "cocktail" of maracyn 1 and 2 would be meds of choice.
I wiped out a similar sounding strain of columnaris with Potassium Permaganate.
If you don't kill it, it can last well over a year in tank and well over 30 days without a host.
It is the quick deaths that lead me to "c". My fish would show sick today and be dead tomorrow!
