List of Things for Brand New Tank

I'm getting everything this week to begin my tank.

I have all of the basics:
40gl breeder
Finnex fugeray led
Eco complete/floura max - think I'm gonna top that with a sandy type too
Aquaclear 70
heater
water conditioner

I read people using excel flourish and different things right off the bat.

Do I need anything like this? If so, I want to get it ordered. I have a test kit and have ordered a gh/kh one.

I'm worrying too much I think, lol! I just want to have what I need.

thanks - I feel like I'm driving you all nuts!

Thermometer, the numbers on the heater's dial usually means nothing
Siphon to get gunk off the substrate when you change water
Dedicated pail for water changes

I'd get the plant food now too.

Smaller grains of substrate work their way down to the bottom especially if you have trumpet snails so only one kind is needed/used normally except for putting a cap on a dirt sub. Get at least a 12" pair of tweezers from the "Bay". I have 12" and 15" but use the
15" more.
Depending on which plants you get ferts are not necessarily needed. If you start out/w your basic Java Fern and Anubias Nana for example you may get by/w just what is available from fish food/waste. But the main reason I brought this up is you can spend tons of money and still not get what you(your plants)need when buying liquid ferts.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...
